I have always appreciated bronze sculptures, so in 2012, after retiring from university, I asked a friend to give me some tips on creating a bronze sculpture. Everyone expected me to shape a horse first. This is exactly why I deliberately chose this beautiful Arizona bird for my first sculpture.
