I was asked by my client whether I could create a small sculpture of the horse trainer’s Basset Hound; she wanted to surprise the trainer and give it to her as sign of appreciation.

It’s my first dog to sculpt, so I had some challenges, especially with the small toes. Also, because I did not want to ad a base to the sculpture, I had to be careful that the dog did not collapse under its weight during sculpting. I managed it and I’m happy with the result.
