After having created several horse sculptures I set my eyes back on Arizona wildlife for my next project. Living side by side with bobcats in our neighborhood, I wanted to try my skills with these graceful cats. This sculpture challenged me, especially the head. Every time Anita, my wife, looked at it, she remarked that it looks like a dog. This was inspiration enough not to stop until she agreed that it looks like a bobcat – I’m very thankful for her continuous advice and constructive critique.
